The Story

Tecbond 1942 Wood & Plastic Adhesive Hot Glue Sticks

Power Adhesives Tecbond 1942 is an EVA-based adhesive formulated for bonding difficult substrates such as nylon, ABS, rigid PVC, melamine, and light-gauge metals to wood. These 1/2" (12mm) glue sticks are designed for product assembly, woodworking, and packaging applications where reliable adhesion and repeatable results are required.

The adhesive offers a short open time to support faster installation and consistent bond formation. It is also suitable for ceramic applications such as tile displays and achieves a strong bond within minutes of compression. The formulation contains natural materials and may benefit from reduced applicator temperatures on smooth surfaces to help minimize adhesive drip.

Tecbond 1942 Product Benefits

  • Versatile Bonding Capability: Adheres difficult substrates including nylon, ABS, rigid PVC, and light-gauge metals to wooden surfaces.
